There are two types of Banner Adverts that can be utilised with The Chicken Exchange:

Top Page Banners €30 for 3 Months

Banner advertisements are placed at the top of each page within The Chicken Exchange and appear on every page  - including the forum pages.

All banner adverts in operation at any one time are revolved strictly in rotation and have an equal chance of appearing on the page. As a visitor negotiates the site he or she will be shown a different banner every 5 seconds at the top of each page. In July and August 2009 each visitor to The Chicken Exchange spent an average of almost 7 minutes on the site at each visit.

Banner adverts consist of a picture (usually with wording) that attract the eye of the visitor. They can then choose to click the banner which will open another page or tab within their browser and open the site you specify. Here is an example:

Banner adverts on the Chicken Exchange are charged at €30 for 3 months. If you would like to place a banner advert on The Chicken Exchange, simply complete the form (from the site information menu, bottom left of the page) giving us an idea of the wording/style you would like on the banner. You will be asked to make payment via Paypal to complete the order.

We will then make a suitable banner (which fits in with the look and style of the site) and place it on the site. We will also send an Email to you confirming the dates it will run on The Chicken Exchange. Please note that we do not use animated banners on the site because our banners revolve.

Page Peel Banner €30 For 1 Month

The Page Peel Banner advertisements are placed at the top right hand corner of each page within The Chicken Exchange and appear on every page  - including the forum pages.

The Page Peel Banner is a single advertisement for one company or product and does not rotate with others. This means that your banner will be the sole promotion within this space for the whole calender month. 

The Page Peel Banner advert consists of a picture (which can be with wording) that attract the attention of the visitor. They can then choose to click the banner which will open another page within their browser and open the site you specify. The appeal of the Page Peel Banner is evident and eye catching. You can be sure that a visitor will want to see what lies underneath the corner of the page!

We will then make a suitable Page Peel Banner (which fits in with the look and style of the site) and place it on the site. We will also send an Email to you confirming the dates it will run on The Chicken Exchange.
